Drone video production has gone from nice-to-have to a core tool of corporate video: a single aerial shot shows in 5 seconds what a page of text can’t in 500 words. Scale, setting, beauty: it all lands at a glance.

At Hola in Company we use it every day in our video production service. These are the 6 uses where a brand gets the most return.

6 Drone Video Production Uses That Work

  • 1. Golf courses and resorts: a hole-by-hole flyover is the content that drives the most bookings. We see it with every course we film.
  • 2. Hotels and tourism: location, beach, surroundings. A drone answers the first question every traveller asks: “Where exactly is it?”
  • 3. Real estate: plots, façades and real views from the height of each floor.
  • 4. Events and tournaments: the scale of an event can only be seen from above; ideal for aftermovies.
  • 5. Industry and construction: project and site monitoring without stopping operations.
  • 6. Brand spots: aerial transitions that raise the production value of any commercial video.

What Professional Aerial Filming Requires

Flying a drone for commercial purposes in Spain requires a certified pilot, registration as an operator with AESA, liability insurance and a prior airspace check. It’s not a minor detail: filming without them exposes your brand to fines.

Technique doesn’t forgive shortcuts either: stabilised 4K footage, careful light planning (sunrise and sunset are gold), and an edit that blends aerial and ground shots. The drone is one ingredient, not the whole recipe. You can see the results in the videos on our video production page, from the Memorial Sebastián de Miguel at Las Brisas to the Miguel Ángel Jiménez Pro-Am at Aloha Golf.

Aerial Shots Also Rank: Drone Video and Visual SEO

There’s a benefit of aerial filming almost nobody talks about: how it performs in search. Aerial videos keep visitors on the page longer (a direct quality signal for Google), feed eye-catching thumbnails in video results, and produce stills that work as cover images in listings, directories and social media.

Our usual workflow: every flight yields the master video, vertical versions for reels, and a selection of high-resolution stills that we optimise in WebP with descriptive file names and alt text. A single drone session supplies visual material for your website, Google profile, social media and press for months. Few video investments pay back this fast.

One planning tip: combine the aerial shoot with the ground-level photo and video session on the same day. Permits, travel and light are shared, costs come down, and the material keeps a visual consistency you can see in the final result.

Drone Video Production FAQs

A pilot with an A1/A3 or A2 certificate (plus STS for advanced scenarios), an operator registered with AESA, liability insurance and authorisations depending on the flight area. We handle all the paperwork.

How much does drone filming cost?

A professional aerial shooting day typically costs between €400 and €1,200, depending on location, permits and flight hours. When it’s part of a full production, the marginal cost drops considerably.

What resolution and formats do you deliver?

We shoot in 4K and deliver horizontal masters for web and TV, plus vertical versions for reels and TikTok, with colour grading included.

Can you fly anywhere?

No: there are restricted zones (airports, urban areas, protected sites) that need specific authorisations or don’t allow flights at all. That’s why the prior airspace check is part of the service.
